Six ways to correctly delete applications. Yes, most of these are applications to help you delete applications. It actually does make sense.

OS X Menubar items. Stuff to fill up your menubar! I haven’t personally used any of these yet. My menu bar is cluttered enough as it is with the built in OS X stuff.

Activate iPhone tethering – without jailbreak?

July 1st, 2009 by stuffaboutlife | Comments Off | Filed in Technology

Seems that there IS a way to enable tethering on your iPhone with iPhone OS 3.0, and you don’t have to go through the jailbreak process either.

Sony Walkman ads from the 80′s.

July 1st, 2009 by stuffaboutlife | Comments Off | Filed in Technology

The 80′s hair… it’s back!

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see the Walkman making a comeback among teenagers, if only as a fashion statement showing how “retro” they are. Mixed tapes may start showing up again and at some point in time, someone will tout the ‘warmth’ of the audio. That is, until the tape breaks and it’s all over. Could the cassette tape and the walkman be the new vinyl? It’s doubtful, but stranger things have happened. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Walkman pop up recently.
