iPhone going to T-Mobile? Perhaps.

Since Verizon had a spokesperson report that they were not going to be carrying Apple products, the financial analysts (why does it seem that these guys are always the ones with alleged secret product information? answer: they’re not.) are saying that T-Mobile could be the next US carrier to get the iPhone. Both carriers are GSM/UTMS carriers, and it would be a minor hardware change if anything.
This is something that we’ve been saying for a long time now. This isn’t new news at all. What is also not news are the ‘analysts’ claiming that Verizon will have it by the holiday season, even though there is not one single bit of evidence to support that claim either.
In the mean time, the iPhone 4 does look pretty cool and AT&T has offered upgrade pricing to pretty much everybody that has been with them for more than 6 months.
